Our Process

How We Turn Any Space Into a Golf Simulator.
Massachusetts | Connecticut | Rhode Island
Most people who attempt to install a golf simulator on their own end up with the same set of problems· a launch monitor that isn't properly calibrated, a screen with uneven tension, a projector that washes out in ambient light. or a room that simply doesn't feel right. Months of YouTube videos and forum threads later, the setup works - sort of - but it's never quite what they imagined
At Perfect Shot. we exist to eliminate that entire experience. We're not a kit company. We're a full-service installation partner. and our entire model is built around one promise. you shouldn't have to figure any of this out yourself. From the moment you contact us to the moment you take your first swing, you're in expert hands. Here's exactly what that looks like.
From Blueprint to Backswing
Seven steps stand between you and the best golf room you've ever seen. Here's exactly how we build it.
STEP 1: The Discovery Call
Every Perfect Shot project begins with a conversation, not a transaction. When you first reach out to us, we don't send you a catalog and ask you to pick a package. We take the time to understand your vision — what you're hoping to build, who's going to use it, what your space looks like, and what your goals are.
This during this call we'll ask about your available square footage, ceiling height, whether you're considering a residential or commercial project, and any brands or technology you may already have in mind — TrackMan, Uneekor, Foresight Sports, SkyTrak, or otherwise. We'll also talk through your realistic budget range, because we believe in being transparent early rather than wasting your time.
By the end of the call, you'll know whether we're the right fit — and we'll know exactly what kind of build we're designing for you.
STEP 2: In-Person Consultation & Space Assessment
Unlike companies that ship a box to your door with a set of instructions, Perfect Shot sends an expert to your location in person. We consider this non-negotiable, because the quality of a simulator build is determined long before any equipment is ordered. The right gear in the wrong room — or installed without attention to ceiling height, projector throw distance, or launch monitor placement — will never perform the way it should.
During the on-site visit, we take precise measurements of your space: ceiling height, room width and depth, door and window placement, electrical access, structural considerations, and ambient light conditions. We evaluate sight lines to ensure the screen and projector will align cleanly, and we assess any framing, flooring, or prep work needed before installation begins.
For residential clients, we'll walk through options specific to your space type — basement, garage, bonus room, or a dedicated outbuilding. For commercial clients, we evaluate bay configuration, customer traffic flow, multi-user sightlines, and AV integration. You'll leave the consultation with complete clarity, and we'll leave with everything we need to design your build correctly.
STEP 3: Gear Procurement
Once you've approved the design and signed the agreement, we handle all procurement directly through our authorized partner network. This includes industry leaders like TrackMan, Uneekor, Foresight Sports, SkyTrak, Carl's Place, BenQ, and Epson — brands we know, trust, and are certified to install.
Working through us means you get proper warranty coverage, confirmed compatibility across your entire system, and access to current inventory. You don't spend hours sourcing components across multiple vendors or worry about whether the launch monitor, projector, and software will actually work together out of the box. We take care of all of it, and we coordinate all deliveries to align with your installation window.
STEP 4: Installation
Installation day is where the vision becomes reality. Our team arrives on-site and handles the complete build: room framing and wall prep, enclosure assembly and screen mounting, turf and flooring installation, projector mounting and throw alignment, launch monitor placement, and full cabling and AV integration.
Depending on complexity, residential builds typically take one to three days. Commercial projects generally run two to five days. We work cleanly and efficiently — and we don't leave until the build meets our standards, which are high. For commercial clients, we schedule installation to minimize disruption to your business. For residential clients, we treat your home like it's our own.
STEP 5: Calibration, Training & Handoff
A finished build isn't a complete build until everything is calibrated and dialed in. Once installation is done, we spend dedicated time fine-tuning every system to your specific space — verifying launch monitor alignment, adjusting projector focus and image geometry, confirming screen tension, and ensuring all software is configured and working as expected.
We then walk you through everything. How to launch a round, navigate courses, access practice modes, read your shot data, and manage your system. For commercial clients, we also cover operator-facing tools — booking software, administrative dashboards, league and tournament features, and staff training. When we leave, you should feel completely at home with your system — not just on day one, but for years to come.
STEP 6: Ongoing Support
Our relationship doesn't end at installation. Perfect Shot clients have access to ongoing technical support for the life of their system. Whether it's a software question, a hardware concern, or guidance on routine maintenance — when to replace your turf mat, screen, or projector components — we're reachable and responsive.
For commercial clients, we offer tailored support programs designed to keep your bays running at peak performance with minimal downtime. This is what white-glove service means to us: not just an exceptional installation, but a long-term partner who is invested in your experience every day after the first swing.
